Artworks are first available for purchase by sponsors and dignitaries before being available in person at the Exhibition in Brisbane. Unsold artworks can also be purchased online following the event.
"This piece was inspired by my grandmother Robyn P, who was a student of artist Leonard Schultz. Her exhibited works graced galleries in Queensland and New South Wales from the 1970s. This work reimagines her oil landscapes of the Australian countryside in a distinct colour palette."
JzyArtz is a Brisbane artist originating from the Gold Coast. Being a third-generation landscape painter, JzyArtz draws inspiration from family pieces that she was surrounded with growing up.
Diagnosed with anxiety and depression a decade ago, JzyArtz finds painting to be an absorbing solace from the growing capitalist media culture.
Currently enrolled in a Master of Visual Arts at Griffith University, JzyArtz has the goal of becoming a curator.
