I wanted to take the dark history of the MKUltra experiments and transform it into something beautiful. I feel like I've reclaimed a small part of the narrative and turned it into a symbol of resilience and hope.
Dissociation can result from such experiments. It's important to acknowledge the harm that was done and the lives that were affected. I created this to serve as a testament to the strength and creativity that can emerge from adversity.
