Before starting, please ensure you have the following information prepared:

  • Artwork details including title, price, dimensions and images (if available).
  • A 120-word artist biography.
  • An 80-word artwork statement for each submitted work.
  • Payment details for the application fee.
  • Your preferred location and timing for artwork drop off, for curation commencing Monday 29 June 2026.

What happens after I apply to exhibit?

After applications close on Sunday 8 June 2025, you will have until your scheduled drop-off appointment (beginning late June) to complete and prepare your artwork for review. If our team has any questions or requires further details about your application, we may reach out to you before your
appointment.

Once your artwork has been received, it will be reviewed by the Curator, with the support of the Project Manager and Project Lead. From this process, artworks will be selected for exhibition based on eligibility criteria and curatorial considerations including but not limited to concept, workmanship, originality and exhibition fit. All applicants will be notified of the selection outcomes by mid to late August 2025.

Am I eligible to exhibit?

To apply, artists need to identify as having either; personal lived mental health challenges, or be a family member/carer of in a caring role as a non-family member.

I don't want to sell my work. Can I still exhibit?

No, all exhibited artworks are available for sale. Artists are responsible for determining a fair and reasonable sale price for their artwork.

I haven't completed my artwork. What do I put in the application form?

Don’t forget - Sunday 8 June 2025 is the deadline to submit your application! If you don’t have all the artwork details finalised by then, please provide as much information as possible. If your application is missing artwork details, please reach out to our team as soon as possible to provide the updated and
complete information. Most importantly, make sure your artwork meets the eligibility criteria, which are outlined under “What artworks can I apply to exhibit.”

Note: artworks will be selected based on artwork eligibility as well as curatorial considerations including but not limited to concept, workmanship, originality and exhibition fit.

I need help completing my application. Who can help me?
