This work is an exploration of negative space, where forms emerge through what is left unseen. The mushrooms grew from childhood memories of fairies, secret worlds, and the wonder of believing that magic might exist just beyond sight. Layers of vibrant colour peek through veils of white and grey, suggesting hidden possibilities beneath the surface. The piece celebrates imagination, curiosity, and the hope that some of our most treasured dreams and stories may remain with us throughout life.
