What the duck?

Born with an incomplete corpus callosum (the nerves connecting the two halves of the brain), Douglas has struggled to find his place in the world. The alien motif features heavily in his artworks, which depict him as alienated in a world seemingly trying to destroy him. Douglas also favours ducks in his artwork, using them to represent how he observes the world, while providing commentary on his thoughts and feelings. 

Expression of depression comes in different forms. This artwork highlights the times you just want to say, 'what the duck?!' to it all.
