Elisa Flynt (Eli) is a self-taught watercolour artist based on the Gold Coast. Inspired by Australian birdlife and nature, her work explores stillness, emotional restoration, and the quiet moments that help us reconnect with ourselves and the world around us. Through delicate detail and calming compositions, Eli hopes her work offers viewers a moment to pause, breathe, and notice the beauty that still exists around us - even during difficult seasons of life.

'Wetland Whisper' captures a quiet moment in the Australian wetlands, where stillness and background movement coexist. Inspired by the pacific heron, this work uses layered markings and warm, earthy tones to reflect nature’s rhythms and the experiences we carry through life. For me, the heron became a symbol of resilience, grounded and enduring through changing conditions. Created through a reflective process, this piece speaks to the healing and strength found in stillness, gentle moments, and connection with the natural world.
