Human Tormentation is an artist who lives in Brisbane/Meanjin as a carer for his mother who has stage three (3) lung cancer.
Human Tormentation suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and has a missing corpus callosum, which is the primary area of the brain that connects the right and left hemispheres, although he is highly functional. People who know of him do not know he suffers from this.
I created this work to show that someone who is diagnosed with a disability is still discriminated against in many ways.
