Sami Bell Autism Abstract Artist is a 37-year-old female artist, exhibiting in the Recovered Futures Art Exhibition for the fourth consecutive year. Sami loves abstract painting for fun, creativity and therapy.
Sami lives with autism, spine injuries, nerve damage, three autoimmune diseases, fibromyalgia, brain damage, chronic pain, losing use of limbs, chronic anxieties, major depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
Sami often paints with her carer Caroline, even though it causes extreme pain. Sami continues to paint because she loves it so much.
Her use of bright, bold, fun and happy colours matches her personality.
