Jaiden Bowman is a 26-year-old artist from Brisbane/Meanjin. His work involves digital illustration, acrylic painting, and mixed media sculpture.
Much of Jaiden's work is inspired by his mental health journey, and navigating the challenges faced by living with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and chronic pain as a neurodiverse and queer person.
His art uses bright colours and psychedelic imagery to explore different states of consciousness and mental experiences. Themes of mythology, the natural world, plants, animals, cryptids, and vintage toys feature predominately across his work.
Jaiden is also passionate about psychology and mental health education, with plans to become an art therapist in the future.

"The lotus is the most beautiful flower... but it will only grow in the mud. In order to grow and gain wisdom, first you must have the mud - the obstacles of life and its suffering." - Venerable Thupten Ngodrup (Nechung Oracle).
