Cindy is a passionate artist from Toowoomba, specialising in oil painting and charcoal drawing. Her primary focus is portraiture, with a dedicated aim to capture and reveal the true essence of the soul - the beauty, truth and divine spark inherent in every individual.
From a young age, Cindy was enamoured with drawing and painting, often depicting her favourite animals such as birds, pets, lions and people. These subjects continue to inspire her work. Despite a period in her life when she put her art aside due to personal challenges, including two marriage breakups, depression and anxiety, Cindy's faith and art have played a crucial role in her recovery and renewal.
Cindy is reminded that if the ending isn't good, the story isn't over. And it's all good in the end.

I adore our native birds, and I am blessed to have beautiful Rainbow Lorikeets in our neighbourhood. Their wild and colourful antics always make me smile. Painted with bright, bold marks, I hope to capture their gregarious nature. This painting also reminds me how important it is to have friends who are there for you, who are willing to sit with you and to share the ups and downs of life.
