Presence
Since completing a Bachelor of Visual Arts with first class honours in painting, Clare has developed and exhibited her artwork for the past 30 years. Specialising in portraits and figurative work, her practice often conveys the highs and lows of human emotion. With a life-long experience of anxiety, Clare is committed to a healing pathway through spiritual practice and artistic expression.
Working in the visual arts sector, Clare has managed and facilitated many community art classes and mural projects across Brisbane. She continues to work as an Arts Facilitator, supporting people with disabilities and mental health conditions through accessible art-based programs. Clare aims to enrich the community through assisting others to pursue their creative ambitions.

Thoughts fuelled by worry and uncertainty can snowball and immobilise me. When anxiety takes hold, I turn my attention to presence; calming the inner turmoil that spirals out of control. This is my invitation to move beyond the fear and let go of old patterns that keep me imprisoned in a mind-trap. So, I breathe into presence until I can begin to feel peace entering my being, to lift the veil of darkness that was consuming my every thought.
