Peter is a budding artist who works with acrylic paint. Growing up on a farm in the Redlands, he developed an interest in plants and gardening. It was all really quite relaxing.

Later in life, Peter was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. It seems that juggling long hours of shift work, trying to keep an expanding collection of plants alive, drumming in local bands, trying to keep fit and eat right... well, it can stress a simple farm lad out. After several hospital admissions, he finally accepted the diagnosis. Peter hopes the tremor he has developed as a side effect will lead to interesting brushwork.

Many of Peter's works reflect on calmer times, highlighting natural and rural themes. Greenspace is the place.

This is my painted tribute to a weekend staying near Dayboro. I don't think Dayboro is a one-horse town; it has enough going on that maybe there are several horses. But I was enjoying it so much, I forgot to count. Well anyway, in this particular paddock, there was indeed just one horse. And what a very noble steed it was. I really liked the hills around Dayboro; still many forested nooks nestled among the fields and pastures. Fond memories.
