Stephen is an abstract artist who works mainly in mixed media, he has periodically made art over many years but has been more productive since committing himself to sobriety.
Stephen lives with depression, anxiety and mild psychosis, although only formally diagnosed in the past ten (10) years. He is also a recovering alcoholic of four and a half years, dedicating his life to his art in place of substance abuse. Stephen had hoped to go to art college but is a self-taught artist.
He has used art as a productive means to get well and hopes to be able to build his portfolio as a means of providing income and hopes that viewers enjoy his paintings.
