My passion as a Christian artist is to create works that celebrate the beauty and complexity of the beautiful fauna and flora of God's incredible creation. My work reflects the beauty of Australian landscapes, as well as the delicate intricacies of our unique flowers.
In November 2020, our precious daughter was born prematurely, and we lost her three weeks later. Painting was (and continues to be) one of the ways I managed to stay focused on the beauty there still was in the world around me, despite the fact that our little angel was no longer with us.

A wedding bouquet needs to be preserved if it is to last. The florist carefully hangs each bloom, watching the colours change over time until each petal is completely dehydrated. Though less vibrant than the freshly cut bouquet, the florist smiles as she admires the subtle, delicate shades of burgundy, burnt umber, yellow ochre, olive green. The stems and leaves are more fragile, yet there is an elegant beauty to them that they didn't have before.
