Nagini
AJ Gogas is a Queensland-based therapeutic artist whose work unfolds at the intersection of art, lived experience, and embodied expression. Through a somatic, process-led practice, she paints intuitively with her hands; allowing colour, movement, and sensation to emerge as reflections of the body's inner landscape.
Honouring creation without attachment to outcome, AJ's work creates space for vulnerability, curiosity, and authentic self-expression. Drawing on the wisdom of the nervous system, AJ invites participants to reconnect with their presence and give form to emotions, experiences, and transitions that may otherwise remain unseen. Her practice views creativity as both a healing modality and a pathway to empowerment; fostering connection, integration, and release through rhythm, flow, and the transformative act of making.

'Nagari' explores the fluid space between limitation and liberation, where movement becomes a passage into something greater. Through texture, form, and organic movement, this work invites us to surrender perceived boundaries and move beyond the confines of our own making. Transcendence emerges through the discomfort of expansion.
