Jude Scott is a Brisbane/Meanjin based visual artist who works with acrylics and texture mediums to create coastal inspired abstracts and realistic paintings in her unique artistic style.
Growing up, creating art was Jude’s sanctuary, where she could escape feelings of overwhelm. In recent years, discovering and working through her neurodiversity has provided clarity on nuances that have caused discomfort in her life, finding different strategies to combat this has been helpful.
Her art practice continues to be a truly healing experience, a place of solace and optimism, helping pave the way to well-being.

Growing up near the coast, I've always felt very connected to this environment. During a beach walk, I snapped a photo of my great-niece and was inspired to recreate the scene in paint.
