Clare has been exhibiting her artwork for the past 30 years.
Specialising in portraits and figurative work, her art delves into the highs and lows of human emotion. Deeply inspired by the Art Nouveau movement, Clare enjoys combining the female form with decorative patterns, in celebration of the divine feminine.
Clare has managed and facilitated many community art classes and mural projects across Brisbane/Meanjin.
Clare continues to work as an arts facilitator, supporting people with disabilities and mental health conditions through art-based programs. She also has lived experience of anxiety and supports several people in her personal life with a range of mental health conditions. Her aim is to enrich the local community by supporting others through creative projects.

I feel so blessed when feelings of gratitude naturally arise, allowing my heart to open and expand into joy. When I breathe in the light from this space, I am thankful for all that I have manifested in this lifetime.
Even in the darker times, I am grateful for the growth and wisdom that is born from strength and courage in the face of adversity. This is what gives us our roots, from which new versions of ourselves can grow.
