Inspired by a light-hearted memory of my father, 'Fractured Grace' explores joy amid cognitive decline. My father lives with dementia, a condition fracturing a lifetime’s narrative. The segmented, textured lines on the canvas represent these breaking pathways of the mind. Yet while specific details fade, the energy and grace of precious memories remains. Water-coloured swans, gathered against a turbulent current, represent the fragments we fiercely protect and cherish, reminding us that even when memory fades, the emotional imprint of love and laughter endures.
