Chris is a well-known artist, tutor, and judge in the Sunshine Coast art community, with more than 32 years' experience teaching art.
Chris' acquaintance with the Black Dog started many years ago, following his marriage breakdown. Luckily, his latent art talent came to the rescue, and Chris discovered that painting (often till late into the night) gave him inner peace and control.
Happily painting in either oil or pastel, Chris has taught in many workshops for art societies around Australia and overseas. In 2004, he was awarded Master Pastelist by the Pastel Society of Australia.

There can be few things in life that can bring such joy as a cherry tree in spring blossom. Nature in all her glory shows the world a promise of new life and growth.
This painting was inspired from a trip to Glasgow with some art students. It just screamed out, 'Paint me! Paint me!' So when I got back, I did just that.
