Chris identifies as a pan-sexual Anglo Welshman born in Wrexham, Wales. Growing up near London and having lived for periods of time in a variety of cities including Brisbane - Australia, Aberystwyth - Wales, Wellington - New Zealand and Leeds - England.

Chris lives with depression and anxiety and has also supported many family and friends through their own battles with mental health challenges and bereavement.

Together with his fiancé, Chris has recently founded an online art gallery and teaching company called Crooked Paintbrush Studios. Chris and his partner are dedicated to teaching and assisting others to use creativity as a tool in their mental health struggles.

These Ibis birds are all over Australian cities. The Egyptians and other cultures consider them holy, but modern Australians call them "bin chickens", as they act a bit like seagulls or pigeons do in the United Kingdom. 

Reportedly droughts in New South Wales first brought them into the cities - becoming more common in the early 2000's. They adapted and thrived here. 

There's historical precedence in Ancient Alexandria where Herodotus notes cities piled high with waste feasted upon by sacred Ibis.
