Krissy Jenkins, a burgeoning Brisbane/Meanjin artist, draws inspiration from her journey with mental health. Her vibrant acrylic creations reflect her passion for life and exploration.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Queensland College of Art, she thrives in her Spring Hill loft, immersed in her craft.
Art therapy unveiled her innate creativity, igniting a lifelong devotion to painting and drawing.
Krissy's works depict a world of vivid colours, patterns and joy—a reflection of her optimistic perspective. With a keen eye for detail, she captures the essence of existence, often portraying herself in her pieces.
Beyond acrylics, Krissy delves into various mediums, from oil paints to black and white photography, weaving her diverse experiences into each creation.

A reflection of a very special friend Adam, who once upon a time came to my rescue when I was in desperate need, a literal damsel in distress.
Even through his own, often dark, mental health journey, he finds a way to cocoon me in love and positive energy and even takes the time to do the housework – always my Superman!
