Jeffrey Parker began his creative journey in 2023 while recovering from a life-altering accident at the age of 19. The experience had a profound impact on his mental health and led him to painting as a way of expressing emotion, processing life, and rediscovering purpose.

A self-taught artist, Jeffrey is recognised for his bold brushstrokes, rich colours, and emotional intensity. His portraits convey the spirit and vulnerability of everyday people, while his landscapes and architectural pieces reflect the beauty of his evolving surroundings. An avid photographer, Jeffrey draws inspiration from the world around him. Each piece contributes to his ongoing personal journey - one of resilience, growth, and the healing power of creativity.

I created 'Wandering Light' as a tribute to the quiet stories told by trees, earth, and light. The two panels move together - sunlight drifting gently across grassy hills, casting warmth and stillness. There’s a rhythm here: one side grounded in the intimacy of shadowed branches, the other opening into space and clarity. This work is about returning - to yourself, to the land, to a slower way of seeing. Bring a blanket and a thermos. Stay a while.
