Delma is a full time intuitive abstract artist who lives in Brisbane/Meanjin.
Bright colours play a central and very important part in her paintings alongside shapes of all sizes which often represent life in the way they move, dance and gather - sometimes in harmony and other times in disagreement.
These abstract shapes morph and become like people and in this way her art intersects with psychology.
Often viewers and collectors are drawn to her works by the use of colour, movement and abstraction and how the various shapes and marks interplay with one another.

My thoughts in this abstract painting turned to a North Queensland holiday where we wandered through the rainforests, sat by streams of cool water and enjoyed the tropical heat by the beach.
