The Rainbow
Since childhood, art has flowed naturally through Rav’s spirit. Yet amid the demands of daily survival and the emotional weight of immigrating from a distant homeland, that vibrant voice grew quiet. Years later - after the profound loss of a miscarriage - Rav returned to painting, not as a pastime but as a lifeline. In her deepest grief, the canvas became both refuge and release.
Though the scars of that chapter remain, they now bring depth and honesty to her work. Today, with her rainbow baby in her arms, Rav’s art carries a new language of beauty - one shaped by sorrow, softened with time, and illuminated by love and hope.
Inspired by the symbolism of the rainbow baby, the artwork captures the quiet joy and fragile hope that follow grief. Though not a literal rainbow, the spectrum of colours speaks to the emotional journey from sorrow to healing - where pain softens, light returns, and love begins again in every shade.
