The Human Torch & Psylocke

Jack Rumley is a Brisbane-based artist who lives with his mum, dad, sister, and three brothers near the CBD. He is on the autism spectrum and finds joy in expressing himself through his art, predominantly working with pencil, Sharpies, and watercolours.

Jack is especially inspired by superheroes - Deadpool and Wolverine being his favourites - and loves drawing and painting them. Beyond superheroes, he enjoys movies, actors, YouTube, and has a strong interest in recycling and helping reduce waste.

The background is created using watercolour techniques combined with acrylic paint, with swirling colours that embody the chaotic energy of The Void, governed by Cassandra Nova. Psylocke and the Human Torch reside within this realm, depicted in fine black marker to highlight their isolation from normality. This contrast emphasises their separation and the tension between chaos and control within The Void.
