"I love to express myself through painting with oils, especially capturing Australian bush scenes. The tall gums are my favourite subject. I admire the art of Hans Heysen, who also loved to paint trees and bush scenes. I think I have chosen a very good blend of colours in this painting to capture this early morning scene."
