This hummingbird embodies a moment of quiet wonder from my travels. Watching these tiny, vibrant creatures flit effortlessly through gardens, I was struck by their beauty, freedom, and the vibrant joy they carried. I painted this piece to honour the fleeting nature of those magical encounters, highlighting the freedom, colour, and joy found in noticing life’s little miracles. It serves as a gentle reminder to seek out and appreciate beauty wherever we find it.
