I created this painting across March and April of 2023 when I was at an extremely pivotal point in my healing from complex post-traumatic stress syndrome. I had zero self-confidence from domestic violence and a lifetime of being bullied, ostracised and put down by people (that often happens when you are autistic).
I moved from my hometown, left the DV behind, set very firm boundaries with my family and developed newfound, unwavering determination, strength, resilience, courage and compassion for myself.
