Lisa finds there really isn't anything that puts her anxious mind to rest more than being out in the natural world, surrounded by trees, mountains, water, and ever-changing vast skies and landscapes.
Like everyone, in some way or another, she has been absolutely shattered by what life can throw at her, so she seeks the small moments of joy and light, doing what makes her feel grounded and grateful, which the artist has found will always be painting and being in nature.
This painting represents my deep appreciation for our natural world, how it provides us with incredible colours, patterns, emotions and awe-inspiring beauty simply by just walking outside every day. This painted collage represents all the complex, chaotic and beautiful moments and layers that make up a life.
