Grateful Porrum
Remi-Chan is a Brisbane-based digital artist who brings to life vivid, psychedelic worlds drawn from the depths of her imagination. Her work reframes familiar ideas through a kaleidoscopic lens - at once recognisable and otherworldly. An entire cosmos drifts around in Remi-Chan's head, and she feels the need to share it.
Each artwork becomes a portal - a flat canvas opening into a legend or dreamscape within. They invite viewers to look but not touch; to step up to the window and glimpse what lies inside the mind of the dreamer.
Lost among the fields of a world doomed to die, the Eden she loved had fallen to the sins of mortal kind. Inert of gratitude did they find themselves, no salvation from its virtue. Now resplendent as the Embodiment of Order, she dons the thousand-acre shroud, so that it may take on the surrounding sin while her concealed body be protected and remain pure. With her Crook of Joseph could she bring justice upon the sinful, with no empathy in their hearts. Her shepherd had long passed; it was now her time to lead the lost lambs on the sinless path.
