Artworks are first available for purchase by sponsors and dignitaries before being available in person at the Exhibition in Brisbane. Unsold artworks can also be purchased online following the event.
"This piece is a celebration of feminine energy, with the goddess representing the cycle of life. Channelling goddess energy gives us confidence to stand in our own place and know ourselves better. We can tap into our divine goddess powers for doing good in the world and live our true, authentic lives.
I created this piece during one of the hardest times of my life. It nurtured me through intense physical pain and helped me evolve mentally, physically and spiritually."
Ever since Kojay was old enough to pick up a pencil or an art tool, she has been creating. Struggling with neurodivergence, creating has always allowed her to express the most authentic version of herself. She loves to learn new skills and take on new challenges.
Kojay has worked for many years as a graphic designer, creating everything from print media to websites and beyond. In 2019, she became unable to work due to chronic pain and several chronic illnesses. Creating art helps her through her hardest physical and mental health battles.
