"When I watch giraffes, I marvel at their grace and the way they run with such long legs. This photograph was taken at Australia Zoo. I used a large telephoto lens to be able to zoom in close to the giraffe as it ate the bamboo. Watching through the lens, I was able to capture the photo at the right moment. I want people to feel as if they are standing there watching the giraffes with me."
