Foggy Evening

Grant is an Ipswich-based artist whose work reflects the intricate dialogue between the natural world and the urban landscapes that shape daily life. Through photography, he finds an escape from the chaos of everyday challenges, using the lens as both sanctuary and voice.

A self-taught, multi–award-winning photographer, Grant has learned to experience life with fresh insight, seeing through an artist’s eyes. Shapes, shadows, light, colour, and beauty now reveal themselves in ways he had never noticed before. Driven by a desire to capture these new perceptions and emotions, he has embraced photography as his medium of choice.

Through the lens, misty figures emerge through the foggy evening, revealing the layers of our innermost thoughts and feelings. In a society that often encourages masking our true selves, these figures serve as a reminder of the importance of self-awareness and embracing our internal battles.
