Brave and Unseen
Growing up in the 80s, Lindy developed a love for bold, electric colours that now shine through her layered, joy-filled artworks. Working from her lively home studio in regional NSW, she draws inspiration from travel, farm life, and the landscapes around her. Lindy's instinctive mixed-media process combines acrylics, inks, and pastels, resulting in vibrant, expressive pieces.
Deeply engaged with her local arts community, Lindy works part-time at the gallery and teaches children’s classes—experiences that continue to enrich and inspire her evolving practice. Painting daily is an essential part of her wellbeing and mindfulness, grounding her while fuelling her creativity.

I made this piece in honour of my daughter’s mental health journey. It’s messy, it’s loud, it’s full of unexpected turns. Collaged with pages of thoughts too big to hold, this painting was created with the kind of bravery that isn’t always visible - but is always real. It's full of hot pink heat, messy marks, and fragments of feeling - just like the journey it represents.
