David Jones is a Queensland College of Art (QCA) graduate with a double major in print media and painting. David has a wide variety of styles within his extensive bodies of work that display the diversity of rendering techniques and paint applications, enabling the work to draw in the viewer for closer inspection.
The title of this piece reinforces the fact that even though the subject matter, in this composition, appears to be thrown together to suggest it’s a pile of random objects, it is actually a strategically placed arrangement of iconography, which is particularly significant to me for various reasons.
