Recovered Futures Mini Artwork Colouring Competition
Let your imagination take the lead! Children ages 4-12 are invited to take part in our Mini Artwork Colouring Competition as part of the 2026 Recovered Futures Art Exhibition. Create your masterpiece for a chance to win a prize.
Competition details
The Mini Artwork Colouring Competition will be open from 9 to 14 October 2026 at the Recovered Futures Art Exhibition in King George Square.
To enter:
- Visit the exhibition and collect a colouring sheet from the outdoor activation space or inside the exhibition.
- Complete the colouring sheet and provide the child’s first name and age, along with their parent or guardian’s contact details.
- Place the completed entry into one of the clearly marked competition ballot boxes. Ballot boxes will be located in the outdoor activation space and inside the exhibition.
Entry is free, with a limit of one entry per child. All entries must be submitted by 5pm on 14 October 2026.

Ages 4–6
Prize:
- 1 x 10-piece Dough Tool Kit
- 13-piece Dough Hairdresser Set
- 1 x Play-Doh Mini Playset
- 1 x 20-piece Play-Doh Super Colour Pack

Ages 7–9
Prize:
- 1 x Lego mini figurine 500-piece puzzle

- 1 x Disney Lego - Moana 2 Heihei

Ages 10–12
Prize:

- 1 x Fortnite Supply Drop Lego

IMPORTANT: THERE WILL ONLY BE ONE WINNER PER AGE GROUP
Important entry requirements
- The competition is open to children aged 4–12 years.
- Entries must be the child’s own work.
- Each entry must include the child’s first name and age.
- A parent or guardian must provide their contact details so they can be contacted if the child is selected as a winner.
- Only one entry per child is permitted.
- Entries received after the competition closes will not be accepted.
- Children of RFQ employees are not eligible to enter.
How winners will be selected
Entries will be reviewed by a judging panel consisting of the Event Coordinator and Event Manager.
The judges will consider:
- Creativity
- Originality
- Use of colour
Judging will take place throughout the exhibition, with finalists selected each day. Following the close of the competition, one winner from each age group will be selected from the finalists on 15 October 2026.
Winner Notification and Prize Collection
The parent or guardian of each winner will be contacted on 15 October 2026 using the contact details provided on the entry.
Prizes will need to be collected from the RFQ office in Annerley. Further information, including the collection address and available collection times, will be provided when the winners are contacted.
