FEIJOA FLUFFBALL

Frilly is a Brisbane-based artist who works predominantly in acrylics and enjoys experimenting with a variety of other mediums. She runs a small picture framing business in Holland Park and paints in her backroom studio after work.

Living with ADHD, Frilly finds running a business both rewarding and challenging. While the long hours and hard work can be demanding, she values the freedom it provides for her fast-thinking, easily-distracted mind - something that ultimately fuels both her creativity and her art practice.

‘FEIJOA FLUFFBALL’ was imagined as part of a series combining cat vases with my favourite fruits. Feijoas are, without doubt, my all-time favourite fruit. I grew up enjoying the most delicious homemade feijoa and ginger jam, and now I grow them in my own garden. This lifelong passion has naturally become embedded in my artwork, celebrating both memory and flavour through playful creativity.
