Johnny was an art teacher when he arrived in Australia. Yet faced with a different country and unfamiliar culture, he found it challenging to adapt his painting skills and concepts to this new environment. Choosing to set aside his brushes for a time, Johnny paused to reflect on his new life. Over the years, through visits to museums and art galleries, he gradually found fresh inspiration. This journey allowed Johnny to express his feelings through art once more and develop a distinctive new style.

I believe roses and music can bring joy and peace to people's lives. When I look at this painting, it takes me to a safe place and reminds me of comforting times. Through my journey as an artist, I have often found myself needing to reset and relax during stressful moments. I hope that by gazing at my painting, the audience can find a moment of peace and tranquillity in their busy lives.
