Fiji Friends
Levi Diball is an emerging Brisbane Outsider Artist, who exhibits photography and illustration in galleries across Brisbane and overseas (United Kingdom and Japan). Levi is a member of Access Arts, Brisbane Outsider Artists and an Art From The Margins member. She is a recipient of the Emerging Outsider Artist Award and a Disability Australia Art Development Grant.
Levi had a solo exhibition at Graydon Gallery, New Farm and has also exhibited at a variety of Brisbane/Meanjin galleries including - the Powerhouse Museum, QLD Theatre Company, Jugglers Gallery, Brisbane Institute of Art, Brisbane City Hall, Aspire Gallery, City 3 Gallery and on the big screen at QUT and River Fire.
Levi’s growing art practice is empowering to her as an artist who happens to have a disability.

This artwork shows an enjoyable experience I had while on my first trip overseas, where a friend and I were toasting with pina coladas and relaxing on beach chairs by the crystal-clear blue sky and inviting blue water. I used cute speech bubbles to bring the typical Fiji holiday scene to life. I incorporated my signature caricature-like style, exaggerating facial features to symbolise my friend's unique attributes, and using specific nose replacements to identify the individuals I am portraying.
