Welcome to the 2022 Recovered Futures Art Exhibition

As the proud host of the Recovered Futures Art Exhibition, we are thrilled to share details about the 2022 event.

This year, the beloved and iconic event is a year older, now bringing the fun to 31! The exhibition will run from 8 to13 October, returning to Brisbane City Hall and King George Square. Spanning across two impressive spaces, we look forward to again showcasing the talents of artists with a lived experience of mental illness through a moving and curated exhibition.

We are delighted to share that Mandana Mapar will be back as exhibition curator. Mandana brings with her a wealth of enthusiasm and decades of experience, as well as a keen interest and understanding of the unique challenges and triumphs associated with mental health and wellbeing. Please join us in welcoming Mandana!

Flashback to the 2009 Art Exhibition. With a rich history spanning more than three decades, RFQ is the proud host again in 2022.

Looking back on the history of the exhibition, it’s been an impressive journey to reach this destination. From modest beginnings, the exhibition has grown into a well-known and loved fixture on the Queensland Mental Health Week calendar.

In the coming months, we look forward to sharing more with you about what's in store for 2022 - as we journey together through a new decade of the exhibition.
