Diagnosed with bipolar disorder, Febe’s mental health struggle became a life-changing catalyst. During her need to express herself, she discovered her instinctive and organic style held broader appeal and creating art played a significant part in her daily maintenance providing an outlet for her emotions through her continued 26-year art practice.
Febe predominantly and intuitively uses mixed mediums (oils, acrylic, charcoal, ink, bitumen and collaged materials). Her paintings, drawings and sculptures are a recognition that every artwork is a living breathing document of her immediate surroundings, life, emotions, and ongoing battle with bipolar disorder.
Febe has exhibited within Australia and internationally. Her pieces have found a place in private homes and commercial locations within Australia, USA, UK, Asia and Saudi Arabia.
Febe is represented by Feather and Lawry Design.
