"This piece represents Acceptance, Belonging and Connection, understanding that we’re all connected through the Golden Ratio.

Everything from the smallest shell to the stump of a tree represents the Golden Ratio, showing that no matter our shape, size or colour, we’re all connected as a community.

This is shown through the vibrant background and the shining, golden designs; revealing that even if you can only see something from one angle, doesn’t mean it's not there."

Tegan Geange is an 18-year-old Logan artist passionate about visual expression. Tegan has exhibited at Logan City's Artwave School Exhibition in 2020 and 2021, the Recovered Futures Art Exhibition in 2022 and the Royal Brisbane Show.

Tegan's father has a diagnosis of bipolar disorder type two and his mental health challenges have influenced her artwork. This year she illustrated her father’s book of poetry called 'Connections', a poetic journey of his mental health experience through connections to people, land and sea.

Currently in her first year out of school, Tegan is pursuing a career in art and has already begun selling her prints and originals online through social media.
