Artworks are first available for purchase by sponsors and dignitaries before being available in person at the Exhibition in Brisbane. Unsold artworks can also be purchased online following the event.

I’ve heard so many well-meaning yet completely useless, frustrating, and ultimately infuriating suggestions. This work is an exploration of the mind when people say things that dismiss and diminish anxiety as a real illness."
Emma Darrouzet is an artist from Brisbane who has lived experience with a severe and ongoing anxiety disorder. Her work is an exploration of the mind when people offer their unsolicited and ill-informed advice.
The titles of the pieces are meant to satirise, but also evoke thought and introspection. The work aims to provide a voice for those who too often are ignored, dismissed and disbelieved.
