A Brisbane-based autodidact impressionist artist and poet, Kaylene_Creates enjoys creating and experimenting with various forms of mediums. These include assemblage, fibre art and painting with watercolour, acrylics and mixed mediums. Kaylene is an Artist in Residence for local community art classes.
Kaylene is greatly influenced by the natural world and finds inspiration from her daily encounters, translating these emotions and experiences into her art.
Kaylene creates artwork to elicit peace for family and personal strength. As a survivor of childhood trauma, supporting mental health is extremely important to Kaylene. She embraces art on her life journey as a means to continue to learn, heal and grow.
