"Many people see heavy metal music as dark and negative, but for me it is beautiful. The expressions and feelings in heavy metal music have helped me during many difficult times. It's raw and truthful and has influenced the lives of so many people. So, I wanted to express how I feel about it with my painting style - and what better way to portray beautiful metal than with the iconic Explorer electric guitar."
Rami Jackson has been drawing and experimenting with art since she was a child. It was always something she could go to when she needed a break from the real world.
Drawing and focusing on creating intricate patterns in her art brings Rami peace. It helps her cope and remain focused during difficult times.
After moving to Springfield Lakes in 2019, she started experimenting with acrylic paint. Favouring bright colours, intricate patterns and flowers, Rami has found her own distinct art style.
