The Harpy

Stormyhead is an Australian/Sicilian artist who lives with chronic pain. She is also diagnosed with complex post-traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD). 

Stormyhead has been expressing themself through art since they were very young. Their style has changed a lot over the years, but she always comes back to high contrast drawings in traditionally black pencils on textured paper.

I created this artwork as an expression of my experience with disordered eating and what I imagine this illness would look like if it took a physical form.
