Amali (Artistically Misleading) is an artist from a small rural town in Queensland who mostly creates artworks with acrylic. She has loved art from an early age, growing to realise its benefits as a therapeutic tool for expressing her feelings in difficult times. As a teenager, Amali experienced severe anxiety and was diagnosed with a panic disorder, coinciding with her younger sister's brain tumour diagnosis. Creating fun, quirky, and colourful artworks continues to support Amali's mental health journey, as she visually expresses herself in isolating and emotional times.
