Loss
British-born Sarah began her career teaching art to children with behavioural challenges. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Graphic Design and has exhibited her work in prestigious venues including Covent Garden, London. Sarah’s illustrations have been published in the Association of Illustrators' annual publication, and she has contributed to a range of projects including an Italian cookbook, ESL education materials, and book covers - including George Orwell’s 1984.
Sarah’s art practice draws on her own lived experience, seeking to offer support and convey positive messages to those navigating mental health difficulties. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to serve as a tool for healing and recovery through art.

And the silent night ascended

I was inspired by the loss of the sun and the petals at the end of the day. This artwork symbolises loss and change from day to day, as the colour is pulled from the page.
