I Travel by Night
Ezekiel has been living with mental illness her entire life, beginning her journey with schizoaffective disorder at the age of 20. More recently, she was diagnosed with level 2 autism, and as a teenager overcame the challenges of anorexia. These experiences, while difficult, have shaped life into an epic adventure.
For Ezekiel, art is a powerful release; an outlet that allows expression of experiences that cannot always be put into words. It is both a refuge and a form of storytelling. For the gift of art, Ezekiel is deeply grateful.
Thrust into adulthood on shaky ground and learning my own way through the school of hard knocks, I was on the brink of homelessness many times in my younger years. As a result, I am fully aware of life's fragility for a woman with mental illness who has no adequate support. So, I always had a plan. And that plan was to 'Travel by Night '.
