Faroe Village

Luna is a multi-disciplinary artist who has been making art since she was in her teens. Starting out with acrylic works, Luna moved on to work with pastels, oils, watercolours, and papier mâché. More recently, she has been concentrating on lino prints and print media specialising in whimsical imagery of birds, rabbits, and hares. Luna is similarly inspired to design, carve and paint imagery of churches and inspirational humans including Mother Teresa and Uncle Jack Charles.  
 
Art has always been Luna's way of coping with neurodivergence. Providing her with the ability to detach from the world and create beauty, Luna enjoys all art mediums and continues to experiment with creative projects which inspire and delight.

This painting of a Faroe village shows a serene seaside scene from the enchanting Faroe Islands, a place I  have a deep affinity for. I have painted a few different Faroe Island scenes in my exploration of this stunning part of the world. Created using a combination of oil paints and cold wax, I have used the textured details to bring the village to life, evoking a sense of tranquillity and wonder.  I invite you to experience the charm of the Faroe Islands through this colourful and heartfelt piece.
